January

January has been a pretty good month. We started out by helping Mommy put away the Christmas decorations. And playing in some of our Christmas presents ( a new dirty clothes hamper)

And we are getting more and more curious about things, including the refrigerator.

We went to visit Gigi.

And Grandaddy

Aunt Hillary came for a quick visit.

And we played around the house and stayed out of the cold.

January was also a little bitter sweet.
Heath and I planned our trip to Glendale to watch our Tigers play for the National Championship. We actually booked everything the day BEFORE the SEC Championship, showing our faith in the team we have both LOVED our entire lives.

Here we are about to leave for the airport...

Here we are AT the airport..

And here we are, IN OUR FRONT YARD, after the big win. We were "Iced" in and our initial flight was canceled, and the subsequent one we booked after.
First, I have to say I could not be prouder of our boys. They fulfilled a dream for so many in the Auburn Family. However, the hole in our hearts will take a while to heal. (a little dramatic but true.) We've been to so many Auburn games in our lives and I would give up about half to have been there. I think I am having a harder time with it than Heath, opposite of what I would have thought. Our parents did manage to make it, which means so much. After all they are the reason we both went to Auburn. Maybe we'll get our chance one year soon. War Eagle!

We did manage to make it to Auburn for the celebration. I could not believe how many people were there!!

Amazing!

The speeches the coaches and team members gave were great, and the crowd sounded like it was an actual game.

Balloons!

Mary Clark and Pollard had a great time.

Sweet Boy..who turned 2 not long before this..
Watching the festivities..

"Hey, I want to be down there". Way too cold for you little angel.

And in celebration, Mommy let me have my first french fry at Locos- after tearing up J&M with National Championship paraphernalia.

We've become more and more playful this month.. as we near our FIRST BIRTHDAY!

I have already received one of my presents.. my Anywhere Chair!

Of course, Henry thinks it's for him.. Sweet Boy

Playing Hide and Seek with Daddy

And we are about to start walking..

See you in February for my BIRTHDAY!!
